Buttersage was created as an exploration into the quiet dance of earth and hand, where form meets intuition. Drawing inspiration from the coastal town of Tanjong Tokong, Penang, our ceramics embrace natural, soft hues and the beauty of imperfection. It is pottery that whispers rather than shouts, pieces meant to be lived with, touched, and cherished.

Every piece is designed, tested and made by founder and ceramicist Belle Yeoh right here in our little studio in Tanjong Tokong. No molds are ever used, and collections and orders are produced in small batches. Our work range from bespoke pieces for upscale restaurants and hotels to organic, simple forms for your sacred personal spaces.
